For universities and pathway providers
Work with an agent who shows the numbers.
Northbound Education recruits from Pakistan for institutions in eight countries. This page is for admissions and international recruitment teams assessing whether to sign us. It sets out how we work, what we will not do, and how to verify any of it independently.
Ask us for our government-published approval rate.
Immigration New Zealand publishes Education Agent Performance Data every quarter. Australia's Department of Home Affairs publishes an equivalent. Both name the agency, the volume of applications and the approval rate.
We will send you ours on request, with the source link. We would encourage you to ask the same of every agent you are considering, because most of the success rates advertised in this market are self-declared and cannot be checked against anything.
How we work
What you get from a Northbound file.
Screened before submission, not after
Every applicant is checked against the institution's published entry criteria, the English requirement per band rather than just the overall score, and the financial threshold for the destination, before anything reaches you. Where a student does not meet the bar we tell them, and we tell them what would change it.
Previous refusals are declared
We ask every student about prior visa refusals from any country and we disclose them. A concealed refusal discovered later damages your compliance record as much as ours, and it is the fastest way for an agent relationship to end badly.
We do not file fabricated financials
No manufactured bank statements, no borrowed balances, no invented sponsors. This costs us enrolments and we accept that. It is the single clearest difference between agents who protect an institution's CAS or CoE record and agents who put it at risk.
Counselling is documented and auditable
Applications, stage changes and every note sent to a student are recorded, with a record of who changed what and when. If you ever need to review how a student was advised, the record exists.
We publish what most agents leave out
Our public guides state that IELTS does not improve visa odds over any other approved test, that we cannot process government scholarships such as Chevening, and that September closes earlier than students expect in several markets. Students who arrive with accurate expectations are the students who enrol and stay enrolled.
What we publish, and where.
Our counselling material is public rather than gated. A partner university can read exactly what a Pakistani applicant is told about it before they ever apply.
If you would like a walkthrough of how your institution appears to a Pakistani applicant before signing, we will give you one.
Where our students come from
Not only Lahore.
We counsel students from Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Sheikhupura, Multan, Peshawar and across Punjab and Sindh, in person and online. A significant share of our placements come from cities where students have no local access to a British Council certified adviser, which is where the counselling matters most.
What we ask of an institution.
Talk to us about a partnership.
Write to official@northboundeducation.com with your institution and the markets you are recruiting in. We will reply with our agent performance data, our current portfolio and a walkthrough of how your institution appears to a Pakistani applicant.
