Questions
Asked and answered.
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes. Your first session is completely free with no obligation. We learn your goals, grades and budget, then give honest advice on realistic options, even if that means telling you to wait or re-take a test.
Do you charge students a fee for your services?
For most partner universities we're paid by the university, so our core counselling and application service is free to you. Where a service does carry a fee we tell you upfront before any commitment.
Which countries can you help me apply to?
Eight destinations: the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Turkey and Qatar, with 14 direct UK university partners.
How long does the whole process take?
From first consultation to visa it's usually 3 to 8 months depending on the country and intake. Start at least 6 to 9 months before your intended intake to be comfortable, more if scholarships are involved.
Can you help if I have already started applying myself?
Yes. Bring us wherever you are, half-finished applications, offers in hand or a refused visa, and we'll take it forward from there.
What documents do I need to apply to a university?
Typically: academic transcripts and certificates, passport, English test result (IELTS/PTE), statement of purpose, one or two references, and a CV for postgraduate courses. Some courses also ask for a portfolio or interview.
Do my documents need to be attested or notarised?
For the application itself, scanned copies are usually enough. For the visa and enrolment, some countries require HEC attestation, IBCC equivalence or notarised translations. We tell you exactly what each destination needs.
What is HEC attestation and do I need it?
HEC (Higher Education Commission) attestation verifies your Pakistani degree for use abroad. It's commonly required for visa or enrolment in several countries. We guide you on when it's needed and how to get it done in time.
My name is spelled differently on my passport and certificates. Is that a problem?
It can cause delays, so it's best to fix mismatches early with an affidavit or correction. Flag it to us at the start and we'll advise the cleanest fix for your destination.
Do I need my degree equivalence from IBCC or HEC?
Sometimes. Certain universities and visa authorities ask for an equivalence certificate to map your Pakistani qualification to their system. We confirm this per course so you only do what's actually required.
How much money do I need to show for a student visa?
It varies by country: broadly you must cover one year of tuition plus living costs. As a rough guide, living-cost proof runs from around PKR 2 to 4 million equivalent per year depending on the country. We give you the exact figure for your destination.
How long does money need to be in my bank statement?
Most countries want funds held for a maintenance period, commonly 28 days for the UK, and sometimes longer elsewhere. The money must be settled, not just deposited the day before. We plan this timing with you.
Whose bank account can I use for the bank statement?
Usually your own, your parents' or a close sponsor's account. If it's a sponsor, you'll need proof of relationship and a sponsorship letter. Rules differ by country, so we confirm what's accepted.
What is a bank statement vs a bank balance certificate?
A statement shows transactions over a period; a balance certificate confirms the closing amount on bank letterhead. Some visas want one, some want both. We tell you which your country requires.
Can I show a sponsor from outside my immediate family?
Some countries allow wider sponsors (uncle, sibling) with documentation; others restrict it to parents or a spouse. We check the specific rule so your file isn't refused on a technicality.
Are education loans accepted as proof of funds?
In several countries, yes, a sanctioned education loan from a recognised bank counts as funds. The sanction letter usually must be dated and show disbursement terms. We advise whether your destination accepts it.
Do I need to pay tuition before the visa?
Often you pay a tuition deposit (or a CAS/confirmation fee) before the visa, not the full amount. The deposit amount varies by university. Our matching tool can filter by the deposit your family can pay upfront.
How do I choose the right course and university?
We match you on grades, budget, English level and career goals using our university selection intelligence, so you see exactly where you qualify instead of guessing.
Can I change my field of study when going abroad?
Often yes, especially at bachelor's level or through conversion and foundation courses. At master's level a related background is usually expected. We map realistic switch options for your profile.
What is the difference between a foundation year and direct entry?
Direct entry starts you in year one of the degree; a foundation year is a bridging year for students who need to top up grades or English first. We advise which route fits your results.
